The denim augusta dress is a boat necked dress with a loose slightly high waisted bodice from which a bell shaped skirt cascades.
It has sleeves that are are pleated and darted to come from the cap of the sleeve. They give you fullness in the sleeve without any gathers and look quite architectural. There is contrast hand-stitching at the neck and the join between the cap and the sleeve. This dress is utilitarian as well as smart enough for the office.

Behind the design
Denim especially denim with stretch like this one, is such a versatile fabric. So good for pants and jackets but also great for unexpected choices like dresses. The black charcoal denim has a clean smooth feel of a denim that has just been machined. Megan loves the new, straight off the shelf feeling it has and decided to create a number of styles that could be utilised for work or play. She has added contrasting natural coloured hand-stitching in strategic places on many of the denim styles. We love the denim for winter. You will be able to layer this dress with tights and sweaters underneath.
